The one-vehicle crash occurred Friday evening at 6:29 p.m. on Hall Station Road. A 2005 Volkswagen New Beetle being driven by an 18-year-old female from Cartersville was traveling south on Hall Station Road when her vehicle traveled off the west shoulder, re-entered the roadway, began to rotate off the west shoulder, and struck a tree with the vehicle’s rear end. She died in the crash. Alcohol is not suspected and her seat belt was in use.
