CARTERSVILLE – The Cartersville Downtown Development Authority will host a Steeplechase and Spring Break inspired Fashion Show featuring many downtown businesses. The Fashion show will be held at Friendship Plaza on Friday, March 27th from 5-7 PM. Along with showcasing their clothing and accessories in the show, a few of the businesses will have tables set up with merchandise for sale at the Plaza. The Tom and Chad Show will provide music which will begin at 5:00 PM; a Fusion Dance Company performance will begin at 5:30 PM; and the Fashion Show will start at 6 PM.
“With Steeplechase and Spring Break right around the corner, downtown patrons can join us at the Fashion Show to gather ideas for their attire and hairstyles,” says Special Events Coordinator Hollie Duncan. “We have so many beautiful boutiques and shops here in downtown Cartersville, and I am so excited for them to be able to show off some of the wonderful items that they have to offer.”

For attendees of the Fashion Show, there will also be an opportunity to enter into a drawing for door prizes. Prizes include gift baskets, gift certificates, accessories, etc. from many downtown merchants. Winners will be drawn at the end of the Fashion Show, and winners must be present to win.
To entice Fashion Show attendees to purchase some of the great items showcased during the event, the Spring Punch Card Campaign is continuing through to the April 3 First Friday event. For every $100 spent downtown from now until the April First Friday, individuals will be entered to win a great gift basket full of items donated by downtown businesses. Punch Cards are available at many downtown businesses.
