Retired Navy Veteran, Michael Schwartz, started his “Epic Ride Across America” in San Diego on Sept. 15th, and looks to complete his bicycle ride across the United States on Oct. 25th in Jacksonville FL. Michael is a Bartow County resident, and is making a special detour to come through town Tuesday morning around 11:30am. He will be joined by riders out of Rockmart, and they will gather in the Tabernacle Church parking lot. Come out and support Michael’s efforts to help Disabled Veterans across the country.
