Sunday afternoon, Bartow County EMS responded to a residence off of Vineyard Way in White to a female injured by falling rocks. Upon EMS arrival the crew found a 14-year-old female on the ground near a large rock. The bystanders stated the patient was on the rocks when they began to fall. The bystanders also told the EMS crew that it took six people to get the patient out from under the rock. The crew quickly assessed the patient and found the patient to have a possible fractured leg and pelvis. EMS requested a medical helicopter to transport the patient to a Level 1 trauma center. The EMS crew began treatment to the patient. Life force arrived on the scene and flew the patient to Grady Hospital for treatment of the injuries.

Bartow County EMS along with other agencies responded to Highway 20 at Roberson Drive around 5:00 Sunday evening to a two-vehicle accident. EMS had three ambulances respond due to the number of patients, which was four. A male patient was found with severe abdominal pain and bruising to the abdominal area. EMS requested a medical helicopter for the man, who was flown to Atlanta Medical Center. EMS also had two female patients, both with possible leg fractures. EMS secured the legs with splints and transported both patients to the Cartersville Medical Center. The fourth patient, a male, passed out while being evaluated by EMS and was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for further evaluation.
