A single vehicle accident occurred Saturday evening on Walnut Grove Rd. The vehicle left the roadway striking a tree. Cartersville PD and Fire began CPR. BCEMS continued CPR and began Advanced Life Support treatment. Cartersville fire drove the ambulance to the Cartersville Medical Center due to both Medics treating the patient. Upon arrival to the ER advance life support treatment continued but the patient do not respond to treatment and was pronounced dead.
