As of 6:30 p.m., the Georgia Department of Public Health reports 4,117 total COVID-19 Confirmed Cases, 137 of those in Bartow County. Bartow County has now dropped to 6th in overall cases behind Fulton, Dougherty, DeKalb, Cobb, and Gwinnett counties.

Cartersville Medical Center has reported they currently have eight confirmed COVID19 inpatients. There are also 31 inpatients awaiting COVID19 testing results.

Corps of Engineers controlled campgrounds are now closed. Campgrounds controlled by Bartow County remain open, but patrons are asked to observe the recommended social distancing precautions recommended by Bartow County Commissioner Steve Taylor’s Emergency Declaration.
