City of Cartersville Water Department begins work on Water Lines

The City of Cartersville will start work on the Etowah Drive water line this week. Work will begin at Old Mill Rd and end at West Main Street. The project will last about 150 days with the goal of upgrading the current four inch water line that is over 70 years old to a 12 inch water line. There will be no interruption in service except for the 10-15 minutes at the point when the new line is connected to the existing line.
