The Cass Colonels (0-6, 0-4) fell to East Paulding on Friday night by a score of 17-9 to remain winless on the season.
East Paulding scored on its opening drive of the game to grab an early 7-0 lead, but would then find moving the ball on the Colonels difficult for the remainder of the game.
Cass kicker Anthony Robledo would connect on all three of his field goal attempts and his final would give Cass a 9-7 lead late in the third quarter.
Unfortunately, this would go against Cass. After forcing a three-and-out, the Cass punt team would have the East Paulding punt bounce off a Colonel and give East Paulding an extra life. East Paulding would take advantage of the mistake and kick a field goal to grab a 10-9 lead.
In the fourth quarter the Colonel offense was stymied. East Paulding would score again to give the Raiders a 17-9 victory over Cass.
Cass will be back in action next week against Rome on the road with kickoff set for 7:30 PM.
