The Cartersville Football Team annouced its 2016 schedule this week. The team will face two defending state champions (Calhoun and Westmintster) and a state semi-finalist (Allatoona) in the first four weeks of play. Here is the schedule:

Cartersville switched from Region 6 last year to Region 5 in 2016 following GHSA reclassification. The Canes are coming off a season that saw them win their region championship and the state championship over Buford by a score of 10-0 at the Georgia Dome in December.
