During their October 13-15, 2016 boot drive, the Cartersville Fire Department raised $24,439.94 for Georgia burn victims.  This year, we again set a new department record for most money raised during this three day fundraiser. The monies raised will help support the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the victims of burns and their families. Funds collected for the GFBF will be used to fund the GFBF’s mission of partnering with the fire service and burn care community to provide fire safety and prevention education, support medical facilities and assist burn survivors in their recovery.

Cartersville Fire Department again would like to thank all the citizens of Cartersville and Bartow County and corporations who donated during the boot drive for their support and generosity.  This money will go a long way in providing much needed support for victims of burns and their families in the State of Georgia.
