BCSO deputies were dispatched to a location in Rydal Saturday afternoon in reference to a carjacking. The victim was crossing railroad tracks on State Route 140 just after turning left off of U.S. Highway 411 when he pulled over due to a noise coming from his car. While checking under the hood, he felt a pain in his head and later woke up in a ditch with his car missing. The victim sustained injuries to the top-right side of his head and his right eyebrow. The car was located in the New Hope Baptist Church on Henry Mack Hill Road nearby.
