A second cargo theft from a beer truck in two days occurred at TA on Cassville White Road near Cartersville early Friday morning. A truck driver was awoken by his truck shaking. He witnessed a white U-Haul box truck parked beside him and two white males in his trailer. When he yelled at them, they ran back to the box truck and drove off, spilling cases of beer along the way. An investigation yielded that they removed the seal off the trailer and stole one complete pallet containing 72 cases of Budweiser select.
Between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, they cut the seal of another trailer and stole two pallets of Bud Light Minis equaling 224 cases.
One of the suspects was around six foot four and slim while the other was around five foot eight and slim.
