Bartow County Students will not make up any missed days due to the inclement weather during the week of Feb. 23.  According to a press release from the Bartow County School System, two of the four days missed were declared as state of emergency days by Gov. Deal and, therefore, will not be made up.  In addition, the state allows school systems five days  for emergency situations that are not required to be made up each year. The other two days missed will fall under that allocation by the state.

Teachers are required to make up two days missed. They can make up the 16 hours via their timesheet and do not have specific days designated as make-up days.
