High School Football is coming soon to a school near you!

There are new protocols in place before Bartow County Schools’ first football games kick off September 4th.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the Bartow County School System will be limiting attendance or seating capacity at sporting and extracurricular events to allow for social distancing. All middle and high school football stadiums will be open at 60 percent capacity. They ask that attendees comply with current public health guidelines:

Do not enter if you had close contact with an individual infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days.

Do not enter if you have physically interacted with an individual suspected of being infected with COVID-19, including individuals exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.

Do not enter if you have experienced a fever, cough, or shortness of breath in the last 14 days.

Do not enter if you have traveled to an area under a Level 2, 3, or 4 travel advisory by the U.S. State Department.

Masks or face coverings are strongly encouraged when fans cannot achieve social distancing.

All Bartow County high schools will be offering ticket presales. Spectators are encouraged to purchase tickets early to ensure event admission. Contact your local school for specific ticket information.

Additionally, they ask that parents and spectators remain off the field at the end of the event.

They appreciate your support and adherence to these new protocols. They are to ensure the safety of the students, staff, and community at all Bartow County sporting and extracurricular events.
