Spring Break camps for children

What do children of the past have in common with children today? They both love to explore, learn, create, and play games! Bartow History Museum is offering fun interactive Spring Break day-camps for children ages 4 to 11 years old. In “Kids at Work, Kids at Play” campers will explore how children of the past helped-out and experience toys and games of the same time period! In “A Storybook Life” campers will dive into the lives of famous storybook children with crafts, games, and of course stories!

“Kids at Work, Kids at Play” will take place on Monday, April 7, 2014, for children 4-6 years old and Tuesday, April 8, 2014, for children 7-11 years old.  “A Storybook Life” will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, for children 4-6 years old and Thursday, April 10, 2014, for children 7-11 years old.

Camps will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00pm with light snacks offered each day.  Price is $18 for members and $20 for not-yet-members.  Advanced registration is required.  To register for camp, call 770-387-3849.  All camps take place at the Bartow History Museum located at 4 E.
