According to officials with the Department of Natural Resources, 23 year old Nicholas Alexander jumped from a boat into the water and never emerged. Sergeant Mike Barr with the Department of natural resources says they received the call around 5 p.m. Alexander was at the lake for a family gathering.
Officials with the DNR, Bartow Fire and Rescue, and the Army Corps of Engineers worked the scene.
