Bartow County deputies are investigating a battery, kidnapping, hijacking a motor vehicle, and armed robbery incident which allegedly began near the parking lot of Red Roof Inn on Cherokee Street in Acworth late Sunday morning.

While the victim was leaving the parking lot, a white Ford F-250 with a metal rack on the back pulled up behind him and two unknown white males covered in tattoos got out of the truck and approached his black 2008 Ford Fusion. He said they pulled a gun on him and forced him into the back seat of his own vehicle. One male got into the driver seat and the other male got into the back seat with him and forced him to put his head down towards the floor. A third white male was driving the truck the other males got out of. All three men had very short haircuts and one of them had a mustache and a goatee around three to four inches long. He thinks all of them had facial hair.

The victim thinks he was taken to a basement of an unknown location and was repeatedly hit in the head and stomach with the butt of a shotgun. He said he was at the location for around two hours. The suspects were trying to get more money from him.

The victim said the males put him back into his vehicle and forced him to put his head down towards the floor. They drove him to an unknown location in Austell and got him out of the car, and drove off.
