Bartow County deputies were dispatched to Dollar General on New Hope Church Road in Acworth Monday night in reference to an armed robbery. Two black males and a black female entered the store, held a female and a male at gunpoint, and robbed them.
The gunman took the man’s mobile phone. The female opened a register and the bottom of a safe for one suspect while the other two opened a cigarette case and stole some cigarettes. Once they took everything, they made the victims go to the back of the store while they made their escape. No one was injured.
The gun used was a silver semi-automatic handgun with a black handle. Both black males were described as large including the gunman, who was wearing a black hood. The black female had dreadlocks.
