David Archer, Jr. was named Director of Athletics and Head Boys High School Basketball Coach at Excel Christian Academy. David shared “I am truly blessed to be afforded an opportunity to join a school and a family as purposeful as Excel Christian Academy, and I look forward to the potential of having a positive impact on the direction of the Eagle Athletic Program!”
A native of Cartersville, GA, David has held Head Coaching and Athletic Director roles most recently at the junior college level, at Chattahoochee Technical College. As Head Coach, he has been a tremendous developer of talent and more importantly a life-long friend to his players over the years. David is a Championship coach, with nearly two decades of coaching experience. He and his wife, Amy, reside here in Cartersville, GA with their family.
