Emergency crews responded to an accident on Highway 41 in front of Zep Products Thursday evening. The accident involved a tractor trailer and a pick up truck. The first EMS crew on scene requested two additional EMS units enroute to assist. The tractor trailer had to be lifted off the pick up truck to free the patients. One male was transported to Kennestone Hospital. Two small children were transported to Scottish Rite Hospital and a female was pronounced dead on the scene.
