The Adairsville Tigers (2-5, 0-2) were stymied by the Sonoraville Phoenix (6-2, 3-0) on Friday night by a score of 35-0.

Sonoraville used a strong running game to chew clock and move the chains on Friday night. The biggest drive was a 16-play, 88-yard drive to give the Phoenix a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Phoenix held the Tigers to just 59 yards in the first half, while it accumulated 161. Tristan Key eclipsed 100 yards and had two rushing scores as did Patrick Moore. Matthew Vincent added a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to give Sonoraville its final touchdown on the evening.
