According to Georgia State Patrol reports, the crash happened around 8:15 a., Thursday. A 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 17 year old, Alexandria Nicole Bragg was traveling south on Highway 41. A 2016 Toyota Camry, driven by 67 year old, Margret Gray Turner was traveling east on Baker Road. The Grand Cherokee failed to obey the traffic light. The front of vehicle struck the driver side of the Toyota Camry. Area of impact occurred in the intersection of the highway and Baker Road. After impact, the Grand Cherokee came to an uncontrolled rest across both lanes of 41 south. The Toyota came to an uncontrolled rest in the left turn lane of 41 north.
Alexandria Nicole Bragg, of Cartersville, was charged with Failure to Obey-Traffic-Control Devices. Margaret Gray Turner of Cartersville was injured and taken to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
