Officials with the coroner’s office have released the name of the man who died in a work place accident Tuesday morning. Forty-year-old Todd Williams of Rockmart was killed at his place of employment Syncot Plastics around 7 a.m. According to a press release from the Cartersville Police Department, Williams was cleaning a plastics mixing machine at the plant located at 707 south Erwin Street, when he was caught and dragged into the machine. Williams was deceased when police arrived on scene.
