GSP Cartersville worked a fatal single vehicle crash around 6:05 p.m. Monday on GA 61 at Hatfield in Bartow. A 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup truck being driven by Howard Mark Streetman, age 47, from Rockmart was traveling south on GA 61 when the vehicle left the roadway in a curve, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree with the right side and top of the vehicle. Streetman died in the crash. Blood was drawn for testing and he was not wearing a seatbelt.
