The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has been called in to investigate the shooting. According to Jonathan Rogers with the Bartow Sheriff’s County Office, deputies were called to Mansfield Road earlier today because two men were fighting in the woods. Rogers says shots were fired and one man was struck and killed. Rogers says a deputy fired the fatal shot. He says the investigation is in the hands of the GBI.
