A Cartersville woman died in an accident on Grassdale Road Tuesday night. According to reports from the Georgia State Patrol, the person struck and killed is identified as Lula Maria Hyman, age 49, from Cartersville. She was hit in the left southbound lane of Grassdale Road when she failed to yield the right of way to traffic, according to the investigating trooper. The crash occurred around 8:25 p.m. The crash report has not been completed at this time.
