According to a press release, at about 9:49AM this morning, a black male wearing blue pants, a red long sleeve shirt, white athletic shoes, a black ball cap, gloves, and a red bandana over his face entered the Suntrust Bank located at 857 Joe Frank Harris Parkway in Cartersville. The man ordered everyone on the floor and demanded cash.
He claimed to be armed but no weapon was observed.
Sheriff Clark Millsap stated that the man left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running away from the bank near the old Ryan’s building next door to the bank. No one was injured during the robbery.
