The truss production facility in Cartersville is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans. It works in tandem with an existing plant in Oxford to bring component manufacturing capabilities to more customers.

At the event, which 200 local business leaders, military servicepeople and veterans, and federal, state, and local community leaders attended, 84 Lumber announced a $500,000 donation to the Fisher House Foundation, which builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. Fisher House homes are at military and VA medical centers around the world. A new Fisher House is planned for the Atlanta area, opening in 2025
