The Georgia Association of Broadcasters held its 55th annual Gabby Awards ceremony on Saturday night in Jekyll Island and WBHF brought home six awards in the division of AA radio.

WBHF News director Earnestine Young-Jones brought home three of the six awards, as she was recognized as Best News Reporter, Best Feature Story: Murder Without Parole, and Best News Story: The Loss of an Angel.

3 and Out Host Kevin Pate took home the GABBY Award for Best Sports Program.

The station as a whole won the Station of the Year Award and the Community Service Award. The WBHF staff has captured the Community Service Award for the fifth time in the past six years and has won Station of the Year for the fifth consecutive year.
