We will have a short call around 6:40AM with State Senator Bruce Thompson who will be recognizing two Bartow County citizen’s on the senate floor today – Garrett Geros and Olivia Glen. Thompson said he is recognizing these two for determination, perseverance and courage. As a reminder, Geros is the teenager at Cartersville High School who lost a leg in a car accident while Glen is a pre-teen who won her battle over leukemia.

At 7:40AM, we’ll be joined by Dexter Benning and Gloria Calhoun to discuss Harvesting Scholars for area students.

At 8:40AM, Jim Dunham, historian and special projects manager at the Booth Western Art Museum, joins us in studios for, “Stories that Won the West.” Jim will take us through ‘this week in western history’ and recap the major events and players involved in carving out the events of the West.
