AdairsvilleTigersFBhelmetThe Adairsville Tigers (10-2) fell to the Blessed Trinity Knights (12-0) on Friday night by a score of 42-8. The Tigers high-octane offense was held in check for the majority of the game and did not score their first points until less than four minutes remained in the game. The defense could not hold the Knights’ offense at bay and the amount of turnovers committed by Adairsville did not help matters. Adairsville trailed 21-0 at the half and continued to find difficulty in keeping the football in the second half, and allowed 21 more points. The Tigers ended their season with 10 wins and an impressive 2014 campaign in region AAA. The Blessed Trinity Knights will advance to play Jefferson next week in the third round of the AAA playoffs.
