The alleged shooter in today’s double shooting has been arrested.
According to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap, 27-year-old Justin Lee Wade of Rome was arrested just after 8:00 tonight and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
Wade was arrested in Floyd County and will be transferred to the Bartow County Jail for booking on these charges. It is still unknown what led to the shooting and it is still considered an active investigation.
