An accident occurred in front of the Publix in the Cherokee Shopping Center in Cartersville on Tuesday morning. Witnesses told WBHF that a black Honda Civic (pictured below) struck two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians was a male Publix employee and the other was an older female. The female was described to have a head injury and had tire marks on her body. The Publix employee had arm and leg pain. Both were transported to hospitals that have not yet been determined.

Witnesses stated the Honda Civic was driving too fast for the shopping center and struck both pedestrians. They also told WBHF that the driver complained to police of blurred vision. The driver was placed in the back of a patrol car after police, EMS and the fire department arrived.03242 0324 03241
