John Michael Massa
Bartow County deputies were dispatched to a residence on Graystone Drive in White at around 8:00 Saturday night in reference to a domestic at a neighboring residence in which a male subjected pointed a gun at his wife.
The victim stated that her husband (John Massa) was drinking at their house and when she told him she was leaving, he became irate, went to their bedroom and returned to the front porch with a firearm. She said he cocked the gun and pointed it at her head.
That’s when she ran to the neighbor’s house and called 911. She said their two-year-old daughter was asleep in their house.
After calling Massa numerous times and him refusing to meet with them, a warrant was secured for his arrest.
Bartow County SWAT opened the door, found the juvenile standing in the living room, and returned her to her mother.
The next morning at around 6:55, deputies returned to the house and made contact with Massa at the front door of the residence. When Massa attempted to shut the door, he was tased, placed under arrest, and transported to the jail.
Massa has been charged with aggravated assault.
