The Cass girls basketball team continued their hot streak last night with a 78-9 victory over Mount Zion in the Central Carrolton Christmas Tournament. The Lady Colonels led 27-3 after the first quarter and never let the foot off the gas. It was a balanced team effort for Cass with the two leading scorers Payton Stoddard and Alexis Ware leading the way with 11 points apiece. The Lady Colonels will face the winner of Central Carrolton and Temple at 7 o’clock tonight.
Adairsville hosts Bremen and Cartersville hosts Paulding County. Both of those games will begin at 7 o’clock tonight. The Cass and Woodland wrestling teams will be participating in the McCallie Invitational Tournament tonight in Chattanooga.
