The home invasion and armed robbery of an elderly female occurred around 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. According to reports, a Hispanic male reportedly robbed a home on Griffin Road at gunpoint and fled the scene in a black Toyota pickup truck. Kingston Police officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Hall Station Road. They followed the vehicle to the Planters subdivision on Highway 293. The man stopped at his girlfriend’s residence on Prestwick Loop. He was able to flee the scene after entering the home.
