Bartow County EMS responded to I-75 southbound at mile marker 286 (just south of the Cartersville Main Street exit) on Saturday morning to an accident involving an overturned tractor trailer. EMS only had to treat one male patient, who had multiple injuries, and transport him to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
The accident did block all southbound lanes, creating traffic congestion on I-75 as well as Main Street.
