According to Bartow County EMS Public Information Officer Brad Cothran, EMS flew out an 18-year-old male from the area of Valley View Drive and Redcomb Drive in Cartersville Tuesday morning. Cothran stated the victim had four gunshot wounds. He was struck in the left thigh, left shoulder, left cheek and upper left back by a small caliber weapon. An air life helicopter flew him to Grady between 1:00 AM and 2:00 Tuesday morning.
WBHF spoke to Bartow County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jonathan Rogers, who said that they are still on the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
