WHAT:          As part of its integrated roadside vegetation management program, a Georgia DOT crew continues today its work on trimming overgrown vegetation along Interstate 575 , State Route (SR) 140 and SR 372 in Cherokee County, SR 113 in Paulding County, SR 53 in Pickens County, and SR 6 in Polk County. Work will proceed daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.,  weather permitting.

 

Integrated roadside vegetation management is a method to bring together social and cultural elements, biological concerns, and mechanical treatments to economically manage roadsides for motorist safety, environmental health and visual quality.

 

WHEN:          Tuesday, August 25 through Friday, August 28, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
