ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help PJ Food Service recruit 94 full-time employees to work at the company’s new quality control distribution center in Acworth.

The recruitment will be held on Wednesday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center located at 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta.

The employer is recruiting delivery specialists (CDL drivers), distribution team members, industrial automation technicians, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators and transportation supervisors.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.

A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is required for the distribution team member, industrial automation technician, industrial maintenance supervisor, production operator and transportation supervisor positions. It is preferred that the applicants for the industrial automation technician position also have a technical college degree in a related field.

Applicants for the delivery specialist, distribution team member, industrial maintenance supervisor, production operator and transportation supervisor positions are required to have at least two years of experience in their related field. The industrial automation technicians are required to have at least three years of related experience.

Applicants for the delivery specialist position are required to have a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) and an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR).

Salaries depend on the positions and experience. Employer benefits include paid holidays, vacation time, sick and medical leave, along with a 401K plan.
