ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruiting event Friday, May 22, to help Apollo Staffing Company hire about 40 workers for manufacturing plants in Adairsville and Rome.
The staffing company is recruiting forklift, machine and grinding operators, along with welders, packers and painters. The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL Rome Career Center, 462 Riverside Parkway.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Salaries range from $10.55-$11 an hour, depending on experience.
The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests.
