The Etowah Scholarship Foundation held a scholarship announcement ceremony at the First Baptist Church of Cartersville tonight. On its 35th anniversary year, the foundation awarded 190 students a total of 217,000 dollars-worth of scholarships.
The earliest donors to the foundation were honored. Those are the Cartersville Medical Center Auxiliary, Cartersville Service League, the Akin Family, the Cartersville Jaycees and members of the Tidwell family and Joan Moore, and the Optimist Club of Cartersville.
WBHF congratulates the 2017 scholarship recipients and commends all of the generous donors who continue to support Bartow County students in their pursuit of higher education.
