The City of Emerson’s Boil Water Advisory has been lifted. On Wednesday afternoon, a main waterline break caused water pressure issues. When this occurs, a potential health hazard may exist from backflow of water of unknown quality into the water distribution system in the areas of zero pressure.
The water system has been restored to full operation. The microbiological quality of the water in the distribution system is safe for human consumption.
