The National Spanish Examination is a very prestigious and challenging exam with more than 150,000 students participating throughout the United States in 2018. The exam has a total number of 400 points and is comprised of two components. The achievement section focuses on vocabulary and grammar; the performance section assesses students in reading and listening. 

 The students scoring at/or above the 95th percentile receive a “Premio de Oro” or “Gold Award”. Of the 103 winners in Georgia, eight are from CMS.
