The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation received Role Model Foundation Board Certification from the Technical College Foundation Association (TCFA) during the Technical College System of Georgia’s annual Fall Leadership Conference held recently in Savannah.

“We are very proud to receive this certification for the third year in a row,” said Chattahoochee Tech Foundation Board of Trustees Chair Don Barbour. “The Board has worked hard to support the mission of Chattahoochee Tech and inspire others to get involved in this important work.”

In order to achieve Role Model Board Certification, all board members must be actively engaged in the work of the board, through regular attendance at board and committee meetings, college and foundation events, participation in leadership activities and professional development and fundraising on behalf of the board. The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation previously received TCFA Role Model Board Certification in 2016, 2015 and 2013.

The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization designed to support the mission of Chattahoochee Technical College. The Foundation partners with businesses, alumni and community leaders to make higher education an affordable reality for students.
