Faulty Railcar Snarls Traffic in Cartersville and Emerson

CSX officials say that a malfunctioning rail car had to be removed from a southbound CSX train around 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Wanted man apprehended at Kroger Market Place.

A small fire was found by a man walking his dog behind Faith United Methodist Church on Thursday morning. Cartersville Baseball Game Moved to Lakepoint at 6:30

With rain continuing throughout most of the day, the Cartersville vs. Lambert baseball game today has been moved to LakePoint in Emerson. First pitch has been moved to 6:30. LakePoint features artificial turf and a drainage system that allows for games to be played on rainy days like today.
