The Cass Colonels (0-9, 0-7) fell to the Villa Rica Wildcats on Friday night by a score of 42-7.

The Colonels struggled to stop the rushing attack that has made Villa Rica so successful in 2017 as the Wildcats led 28-0 at the half. Villa Rica would score two more touchdowns, including a scoop-and-score before Logan Nelson would hit Cameron Gonyea for an 8-yard touchdown to keep the Colonels away from the shutout and onto the scoreboard.

Cass will have its 2017 season finale next week for a home contest against Carrollton.
