Due to the uncertainty of how Hurricane Irma will affect the weather in Cartersville, this year’s March to the Mountain on Monday has been cancelled.
The March to the Mountain is a 6.5-mile memorial walk that begins and ends at the West Loop of Pine Mountain. It is simply a walk to celebrate the freedom of America and all those who have died for it. This yearly event began as a commemoration to the victims of the September 11 attacks.
