Layla Giselle Rosa, 8lbs., 1.5 oz., and 20 1/2 inches long, was the first baby of the year born at Cartersville Medical Center.
Proud parents Jessica and Elmer Rosa of Cartersville welcomed their healthy baby girl at 1:02 a.m. on January 1st at Cartersville Medical Center. Dr. Malcolm Barfield of Cartersville OB/GYN Associates delivered the newborn.
Mother/Baby services staff and the CMC Auxiliary & Gift Shop presented the family with New Year Baby gift baskets in honor of their special delivery.
Cartersville Medical Center delivers about 1,000 babies annually.
