Ronald Lee Young
A Bartow County deputy met with a woman at the sheriff’s office on Saturday afternoon in reference to an aggravated assault that allegedly occurred at her residence on Cassville Road in Cartersville earlier that day.
She informed the deputy that she had been arguing with her boyfriend Ronald Young over him being in possession of stolen items and drugs as well as being a part of prostitution.
She said Young became upset, grabbed a metal cue stick, and began hitting her on her right arm and right side of her back, leaving red marks and welts. She then stated Young grabbed a trash bag containing miscellaneous items and hit her with hit. She also said Young then slapped her on the right side of her face before grabbing a gun and pointing it at her head. She thinks Young stole a gold watch, headphones, and a social security card from her purse as well.
Young was arrested and booked into the county jail on Monday afternoon for aggravated assault. The theft portion of this case is still under investigation.
